Zhejiang Shuren University

Founded in 1984, Zhejiang Shuren University is one of the earliest full-time private universities approved by the Ministry of Education and the only one supported by Zhejiang Provincial Political Consultative Committee in China. Now it has two campuses, Gongchenqiao in Hangzhou and Yangxunqiao in Shaoxing, covering an area of more than 1,230 mu, with a total construction area of about 660,000 square meters and a collection of about 2.1 million books. The university has 12 secondary colleges led by academicians, including Shulan International Medical College, with more than 18,000 students and nearly 1,400 faculty members, including high-level talents such as academicians from the Chinese Academy of Engineering and the Academy of Europe, national-level famous teachers, nationally distinguished young scholars and professors. So far, more than 90,000 students have graduated from ZJSRU, including the outstanding alumni awarded as Zhejiang Craftsmen, Famous Zhejiang Entrepreneurs, Outstanding Women, Public Security Heroes, and Famous Writers.
