Autoriteit Consument & Markt
Standnummer #120
Autoriteit Consument & Markt
The Authority for Consumers & Markets (ACM) is an independent regulator. We strive for well-functioning markets for people and businesses, now and in the future. Starting September 2025, the Data Act applies in the European market. In line with this regulation, we are committed to creating fair data markets where switching providers and developing new products is not just possible, but accessible.
During the Data Expo you can visit our stand and ask all your questions regarding data sharing, data intermediation services, and cloud services. This can include questions like:
- How should I process data I collect from customers? How can my company comply with the Data Act?
- How can I access my own data as a user of smart devices?
- What requirements must cloud services meet to make switching easier?
- How can I register as a data intermediation service?
The Dutch Data Protection Authority (AP) will also be present in the stand. They protect people in the digital domain. This is done by overseeing the General Data Protection Regulation, but also by playing a part in oversight of other regulations like the AI Act, Data Act, and Data Governance Act.
