CIFE, the Centre international de formation européenne, is a European Institute of higher education and research based in Nice, Berlin, Brussels and Istanbul.

Faithful to CIFE's motto "Learning and living Europe", students change their study locations every trimester during the academic year in cities such as Nice, Berlin, Rome, Brussels, Istanbul and Tunis. 

CIFE offers eight international and interdisciplinary Master programmes in:

• Applied European Studies
• European Integration and Global Studies
• Mediterranean Studies
• Energy Transition and Governance
• Economic Governance and Public Affairs 
• EU Trade and Climate Diplomacy
• Cultural Policy and Governance

CIFE also offers an Executive Master in EU Studies (online) and a large summer university programme in different European countries.

CIFE graduates receive the qualification “Policy officer in European and International Organisations” and work as Senior officials in European institutions, policy officers within the UN framework, administrators, diplomats, consultants, researchers for think tanks, lobbyists, and academic experts.

CIFE is one of the seven institutions of excellence to receive an operating grant from the European Union under the "Jean Monnet Programme" of the Erasmus+ programme.
