FireFighterBag.com was founded in 2018 by Tom de Bruijn. With a passion for the fire brigade he has been working as a volunteer in the Amsterdam-Amstelland region since 2009 and from 2016 to 2019 in the 24-hour service for the Gooi- en Vechtstreek region. Since 2019 he has been working as a professional at the Amsterdam-Amstelland Fire Department. His father was also a firefighter, so he grew up with the Fire Department. Tom wanted a nice firefighter bag, but there was no good offer in the Netherlands. This gave him the idea to design and make his own backpack. A design was made and several samples were sent from China until he was really satisfied. The result is impressive! Meanwhile, a toiletry bag, weekend bag and turnout gear trolley bag have also been added to the range. From idea to backpack, the whole process took almost a year. Because quality is an important aspect of the bag, a lot of attention was paid to this. The backpack is water-repellent, sturdy and of course an item that should not be missed by the fanatic firefighter lovers!
