Mondial Relay

The European parcel service Mondial Relay, part of the InPost S.A. Group, opened the doors of its distribution center in Vianen in 2021. With over 1,200 collection and collection drop-off and pick-up points, Mondial Relay is a fast growing out-of-home parcel service in the Netherlands with a sustainable and customer-friendly solution for 'last mile delivery'. In addition to B2C shipments, Mondial Relay also provides deliveries between consumers. Recent research shows that more and more Dutch people (59%) prefer to have their parcel delivered at a collection point. Moreover, thanks to its European network and friendly rates, Mondial Relay also makes it easier for both companies and consumers to make an international shipment. The international parcel service from Mondial Relay is already available in 9 European countries. Because PUDOs and lockers mark the future of a sustainable 'last mile', Mondial Relay will also offer so-called APM deliveries in the Benelux. In the twelve months to February 28, 2021, Mondial Relay processed approximately 140 million packages and generated more than 400 million euros in revenue. In July 2021, InPost successfully completed the acquisition of Mondial Relay to create Europe's leading out-of-home automated e-commerce solution.
