Kaunas University of Technology (KTU) is a Lithuanian leading university providing studies for around 1000 international students every year. It is recognised for its comprehensive approach to education and research, which addresses the demands of an ever-evolving world.

Founded on February 16, 1922, KTU has built a legacy of excellence in technical & interdisciplinary fields. Today, the university is committed to fostering sustainable partnerships & innovations among science, business, & technology.

KTU encompasses nine faculties, each specialising in a different field of study, such as Architecture, Computer Science, Engineering Science, Social Science, Humanities, Business Management, Technology Science, and Physical Science. It also offers 60+ study programs in English, covering Bachelor’s, Master’s, integrated degrees, and PhD programs. 

KTU has a vibrant student life community with 23 student organisations, 7 art societies, and a Sports Centre offering 20 sports classes. It also features one of Lithuania’s largest libraries and the Interdisciplinary Prototyping Center—M-Lab—for experimenting with innovations.
